The cards are pictured and the lot may include regular issue and specialty cards from Topps, Post Cereal, Upper Deck, Leaf, Score, Donruss, Fleer, Stadium Club, Bowman, Ultra, and more. There are some premiums, inserts and oddballs. After hours of sorting, this lot has been created with just this one single grouping. This lot includes only CALIFORNIA ANGELS Baseball cards and they are all of KIRK MCCASKILL. KIRK McCASKILL played hockey in the American Hockey League (AHL) for the Sherbrooke Jets during the 1993-94 season. The Canadian born former Major League Pitcher played nearly a dozen seasons between the Angels and the Chicago White Sox. He was 106-108 with a 4.12 ERA and a solid 1,003 career strikeouts. His family moved to Arizona and then California after his dad's hockey career ended so kirk hung up his skates to concentrate on baseball. He dominated at a lower level, turned down a BB scholarship to play at Arizona State and went to the University of Vermont and saw action in the famed Cape Cod League. He was a 4th round pick by the Angels in the 1982 MLB amateur draft and although he debuted in 1985, '86 was his beakout season where he won 17 games and recoded 202 K's. Tall and thin, Kirk was an imposing figure on the raised mound and a very popular player with the White Sox. He is a member of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and the Vermont Sports HOF as well. He is now the Head baseball Coach at Torrey Pines HS in San Diego, lives with his family in Cardiff by the Sea.
