This was an evening of poetry reading, each poet chose one of their own and someone elses to read. The money raised at this event went towards the Royal Hospital.

It has been difficult to price the book and I have been unable to find out anything more about the event or proof of any other copies of this book so I would conclude it is very rare, especially to have such a collection of these prominent English and American poets/authors.
