NOTE: When using this solenoid on Massey Ferguson 1533 Serial# JZA95201 or lower, a resister must be used in the circuit to prevent solenoid overheating. This resistor is Massey part#6258743M91 and may be available through your Massey parts dealer. Massey Ferguson 1533 Serial# JZA95202 or higher do not require resistor.
RED WIRE: +ve fused ignition supply
BLACK WIRE: -ve chassis earth
WHITE WIRE: +ve on crank only
Solenoid will only operate and hold in if you have a ignition live and earth and a starter signal to trip the solenoid. it will then hold in until ignition live or earth are removed.
