guides are made from Silicone Manganese Bronze in a USA
machine
shop. This material dissipates heat the fastest and is a very durable
metal to use as a guide. The guides may have to be reamed or honed
according to the tolerance that you want to run on your valve stems.
Our guides also have a threaded top to prevent metal clad seals from
slipping or being pushed off, which is a problem when changing from
the OE style hat seals to an aftermarket metal clad seal. If you're
building a set of LS heads, these are your ticket for low cost and
