This
is a wonderful antique darning or mending sampler, showing various darning techniques and borders, stitched with red thread on cotton cloth.
The sampler is Dutch and dates from circa 1900. It is signed 'M vd S'.
It measures approximately 6 3/4 x 9 inches or 17 x 23 cm.
The sampler is in good condition, considering its age. The cloth has some spots on it.If you have any questions or would like more or larger pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me.
