The Pearl Pottery company operated in Hanley, Stoke-onTrent, England from 1894 to 1936. 

They specialized in painted earthenware. 

This serving bowl is decorated in a floral motif with birds and a gold trim around the opening edge. 

It is approximately 9 1/8 inches wide at the top. 

The stamp on the bottom indicates that it is pre-1912.
