Bio-Plas Mega-Flo Filtration Media

Bio-Plas Mega-Flo is ideal for filling large static filter chambers/beds. The media will slow any flowing water casing and suspended particulate matter to settle and be filtered away.The purposely designed shape ensures for a free flow of water, not to cause any back up in the static filter bay.

Bio-Plas Mega-Flo filter media provides a large surface area for good bacteria to colonise and this increases the efficiency of a box, pressure or multi-bay pond filter.

Bio-Plas Mega-Flo Media provides the maximum active surface area for the bacteria to colonise, much more than other types of static media. It is this process which removes harmful ammonia and nitrite from the water.

Within the media is a protected surface which enables colonies of bacteria to naturally follow their lifecycle, of maturing, dying and then fuelling the latter stages of the nitrification cycle.

All Bio-Plas filtration media can be used in either a mechanical or biological Filtration system; Bacteria will colonies while collecting debris and plant material from the pond with no compromise of water flow.
