A fair copy of this highly collectible book about the Armenian Massacres.  An important cultural artifact. Softcover edition. 143 pages with two b/w photo plates.  Printed for distribution in Europe. The book has a new spine, some edgewear, light wear to pages, some brittling and foxing, but no serious flaws.

HELEN DAVENPORT GIBBONS [1882 – 1960] - An American journalist, author. In 1909 the Gibbons family witnessed the Armenian massacres in Tarsus, Turkey.  Later (in 1917) Helen Gibbons wrote a book called “The Red Rugs of Tarsus” - a compilation of her letters describing those terrible events.
