The highly absorbent microporous separator of the maintenance-free FG lead battery binds a maximum amount of pure electrolyte and permanently isolates the electrodes from each other. This means that the battery can be operated in any position, even upside down, without loss of capacity. The electrodes are made of a special antimony-free lead alloy. This results in a very low self-discharge of less than 3% per month.
The robust housing material is impact- and break-proof as well as corrosion- and aging-resistant ABS plastic. FG lead accumulators are safe for deep charging and can be recharged after a deep discharge.
