Niels Krag was a 16th-century Danish historian most known for his book of philological humanism, ‘De Republica Lacedaemoniorum Libri IV’. This work was his most significant work, first published in 1593 - a commentary on ancient Greek and Roman writers, Spartan institutions, and Roman Republic rhetoric. This first edition is also bound with ‘Heraclidae Pontici de Politiis’, a relatively unknown work of Krag.
