The Two Gilberts were a music hall type act in the 1920's, although it is thought they only actually recorded and did not make live appearances. There is also mystery as to who they were several names have been put forward, it is generally thought that Fred Douglas was nearly always one part of the duo and that Leslie Rome was his most common partner. Harry Cove & Billy Thompson were also mainstays of the duo at various times.
