THREE Fiber washers for #12 size meat grinders.  This is compatible with Hobart,  Biro, Berkel, Chop Rite, Alfa, Uniworld, Universal and all commercial grade meat grinder augers that look as pictured.  Will fit your auger if it has 1/2" square end.

This is the #12 size.  3/4" ID, 1 3/8" OD

Fiber washers are much more heat conductive and longer lasting than plastic

Fiber washers are necessary at the drive end of the auger.  This reduces heat build up and keeps a tighter fit between the knife and plate.  If you are experiencing "minced" meat when you grind then you may need to replace the fiber washer.
