16 "Metal Clad" Viton Valve Seals. They are .313" stem X .500"
diameter and fit the GM Small Block LS1 / LS6 engines and 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L & 7.0L truck, SUV and Corvette engines
as well. These are some of the best seals on the market!!
NOTE : GM uses 2 different valve seal styles on the LS motors: "Small" and "Top Hat". "Top hat" style valve seals can only be used with single valve springs (different listing). If you are going to keep or change your valve springs to single springs, you should/can use the "top hat" design, you can get them here . . . Click Here!
NOTE: You must check the size of your
valve guide(s) prior to ordering to make sure you receive the correct
fit!
2nd NOTE: It is recommended that when using these valve seals, that spring cups (seats) be in place to avoid springs cutting into aluminum cylinder heads.

WHY BUY VITON SEALS?

Viton and other seals have several
very crucial differences that make them especially well suited to
certain applications. While both Viton and other seals both serve as
great sealing options at moderate temperatures, Viton is far superior to
other seals for high temperature applications. Viton seals provide an
indefinite seal for temperatures up to 400°F, and for temperatures up to
600°F they offer an excellent seal for more than 48 hours. Valve seals
made of non-Viton materials, such as Poly, are only effective up to
250°F.

These are brand new production seals.
Viton has good flexibility like Nitrile, which means it can handle some
runout between the valve stem and guide. It is also considered to be a
more durable material than silicone. Viton also has better wear
resistance than most other seal materials, making it a good choice for
applications where long term durability is a must.

Viton seals provide less friction as well, due to 5% Teflon.
