This sterling silver engraveable round disk is about 18 mm in diameter, about 2 mm thick and weighs almost 4.5 grams. It has a very strong gauge 7 mm round jump ring. It does have a shiny surface, but there are fine scratch marks on all of them (see photos). I do not engrave.

Look for the other 18 mm &15 mm round disk also in my ebay store. It would look great on a chain or charm bracelet.
