SIZE: aprox. 23.5x35.75 framed, aprox. 18x30 unframed
MEDIUM: oil on canvas
CONDITION: some craquelure can be seen on the canvas due to age (see photos). Painting could also use a cleaning, sold as found, original antique condition. A couple areas of scuff chip marks and light surface marks can be seen (please see photos). Light restoration and cleaning needed in these areas. Frame has some wear to edges due to age.
REF: Fine early California coastal painting by Victor Boygle. Not much is known about this talented painter - he appears to have been interested in painting landscape and coastal scenes in California, early part of the 20th Century. Oil on canvas. Active as a painter from Los Angeles, California around 1935-1945. Victor Udolph Boygle passed away 5-10-1959 at the age of 73. A talented impressionist and colorist.
