Julie Kramer Cole's Biography:

Julie's original pastels capture a moment in time, fusing memory and imagination with a true story revealing allegorical slices of Native American life and the lure of the legendary American West. A professional artist for 45 years, she received her art education at Colorado State University and the Colorado Institute of Art. Julie utilized her natural ability to portray anatomy by pursuing a career as a fashion illustrator in Denver. After moving to Loveland in 1979, she turned to fine art by portraying her interpretation of the West and its people. Some of Julie's achievements are: two SDFWA Festival Choice Awards and four Gold Medals; the first woman to have three limited edition prints listed in U.S. Art Magazine's Top 25 for one year; two NALED awards for collectible plates; three years winning a nomination for the Award of Excellence from Collector Editions magazine; and a member of the Art Institute's Hall of Fame. She is published by Cole Fine Art, Loveland, Colorado; The Leanin' Tree, Boulder, Colorado; and the Bradford Exchange, Chicago, Illinois

The low resolution pic here does not show the eggshell colored mat very well. The image itself may look a little blurry or out of focus. The item you receive will be as crisp and clear as the artist intended it to be. We guarantee it.
