Defend your monastery and take up arms with this 28mm Militant Monks Sprue from Wargames Atlantic.
Part of The Barons' War range, this multipart hard-plastic sprue provides components for building armed medieval monks, representing religious brothers forced to defend their monasteries, lands and communities during times of conflict.
Unlike the professional warriors of the great military orders, these monks are ordinary members of religious communities who have taken up whatever weapons are available to protect their homes.
Ideal for expanding an existing Barons' War retinue, creating additional figures for historical scenarios or picking up individual miniatures without purchasing a complete boxed set.
Their distinctive medieval appearance also makes them excellent for fantasy wargaming, tabletop RPGs and skirmish games, particularly for creating monastery defenders, religious NPCs, armed clerics and other characterful figures.
The multipart components offer plenty of potential for kitbashing and conversions, with different heads, weapons and poses allowing for varied miniature builds.
