This is an authentic vintage Home Front lapel pin from the World War II era, celebrating the historic Army-Navy E Award for production excellence. Shaped like the official triangular swallowtail plant flag pennant, the face features beautifully detailed cloisonne enamel work with a divided red and blue banner block on the left and a white field running to the split tails.

The white stripe features an embossed copper or brass dot alongside two raised white enamel service stars, indicating subsequent consecutive six-month production record achievements. The reverse side features a smooth, clean gold-tone presentation finish retaining its original, fully functional horizontal pin bar and standard rolling safety catch lock mechanism. Measuring approximately 1 inch in length as displayed alongside the ruler, this scarce civilian factory worker medal is a wonderful tribute to American industrial war mobilization effort. It makes an excellent addition for collectors of WWII homefront history, enamel military pins, or vintage factory employee badges.
