At SAR AUTO, we give genuine OEM car parts a second life. Our listings include photographs and available part numbers so you can check the item’s condition and suitability before buying. Each order is carefully packaged for dispatch.

30-day returns

We offer returns within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, open a request through your eBay order and include your order reference. If there is a problem with the part, please describe the issue and attach photographs where helpful.

Please return the item with all components originally supplied and package it securely. Avoid dismantling, modifying or attempting repairs before contacting us, as any resulting damage may affect your refund.

For change-of-mind returns or parts ordered incorrectly, return postage is the buyer’s responsibility. If a part is faulty, incorrectly described or supplied in error, we will arrange or cover reasonable return postage.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within the applicable legal timescale. Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Part identification

Where fitted, identification labels, serial numbers and security markings help us identify our parts and check returned items. Please keep these intact. We may compare returned parts with listing photographs and available dispatch records during inspection. These checks do not limit your statutory rights.

How to return a part

1. Open a return request through your eBay order.

2. Include your order reference and, if reporting a fault, a brief explanation of the problem.

3. Follow the return instructions and securely package the complete item.

Once the return arrives, we will check the part and process the appropriate refund or replacement promptly.

Checking compatibility

Please compare the part numbers, photographs and vehicle information in the listing with your existing part before ordering.

If you are unsure, message SAR AUTO through eBay with your vehicle registration and, where possible, the original part number. We will help check compatibility using the information available.

Delivery and packaging

• Small items: FREE UK delivery.

• All large items: an additional £55 delivery charge.

Please check the listing for the delivery service and estimated arrival dates. Parts are securely packaged to help protect them during transport.

Spares, repairs and untested parts

Items advertised as Spares or Repairs, Faulty or Untested may require repair, further diagnosis or dismantling for usable components. Their condition is explained in the listing and should be considered before purchase.

Faults specifically disclosed in the description are not grounds for claiming the item was supplied faulty. Applicable cancellation rights and rights relating to incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

3. Checking the returned part

4. Incorrect items
If you believe we have supplied the wrong part, please contact us with photographs of the item and any visible part numbers. We will check the order and available dispatch information, then arrange an appropriate resolution.

5. Parts sold as faulty, untested or for repair
Please read the description carefully before purchasing these items. Parts advertised as faulty, untested, or for spares or repair are supplied in the condition described and may require further work. 6. Return delivery costs
