2000 Topps Chrome Pokémon TV Animation Edition – #4 Charmander – TEKNO Parallel – PSA 9 MINT

The Tekno is the scarcest parallel of the 2000 Topps Chrome Pokémon set, pulled at roughly 1:12 packs — rarer than the Sparkle and Spectra parallels and far rarer than the base Chrome. Combine that pull rate with a 26-year-old chrome stock that chips, scratches, and curls, and high-grade Tekno examples are among the hardest cards to source from the Pokémon-boom era of Topps.

PSA population: 24 in PSA 9, 7 in PSA 10. This is one of fewer than three dozen copies PSA has ever graded at 9 or better.

Charmander is the starter behind Charizard, the most collected character in the hobby, and this is the only Topps Chrome Charmander parallel at this scarcity level. Tekno PSA 10s of this card have sold in the $25,000 range in 2026, and the entire set has re-rated sharply since the 30th-anniversary run-up. For collectors building the Tekno rainbow or a Charmander master set, a PSA 9 is the realistic entry point.

Card is exactly as pictured, in its original PSA holder with no scratches or clouding on the slab. Please review all photos; they are of the actual card you will receive.
