FERNANDES FPB-120 1980 (no261030) FERNANDES FPB-120 1980s Catalog-Exclusive Specifications Fernandes is a highly regarded Japanese manufacturer of guitars, particularly those produced in the 70s and 80s. With its unique systems, including the Sustainer, and numerous artist models such as the MG and TEJ series, Fernandes is an indispensable name when discussing Japanese-made guitars. This model is the FPB-120, the top-of-the-line model at the time. Manufactured in the 1980s, it was priced at 120,000 yen. While the catalog lists it as having a maple neck, judging from the texture, it is likely made of koa wood. Some models appear to have a sen wood body, but the grain pattern suggests it is koa. The hardware shows some signs of wear, but it features gold-plated parts. It has vintage-inspired specifications, such as reverse-wound tuners and spiral saddles. The all-koa construction provides a powerful, low-center-of-gravity Precision Bass sound. It also features a function that allows you to switch the number of coil windings by pulling the tone pot up and down. This is a rare model that is not often seen on the market, making it a highly collectible instrument. It is characterized by a rich, full sound unique to all-koa wood. Regarding the condition, the neck shows slight upward movement due to age, but there are no problems with playing it at the moment. There are scratches and tarnishing on the metal parts due to use. The logo decal on the headstock has disappeared. The strap pins have been changed to locking type. There are no problems with the operation or sound at the moment. 【SPEC】 Body Material: KoaNeck Material: KoaNeck Shape: CNeck Warp: NoneFretboard Material: Rosewood (20F / 7.25"" / Approx. 184mmR)String Height: 12F Treble-Bass: 2.1mm-2.5mmFret Life: Approx. 70%Inlay: DotNut (Material/Width): Brass / Approx. 39mmTuners: GB-2 Gold (Reverse Wound Tuners)Scale Length: Approx. 864mmBridge: Spiral Saddle BridgeString Gauge: .045-.105Pickguard: AnodizedPickup: L-6001TXControls: Volume, Tone (Pull to change coil turn count)Truss Rod Remaining Adjustable in both tightening and loosening directions Weight: Approximately 4.88 kg Accessories: Non-genuine hard shell case Serial No.: J800475 -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
