For auction is a vintage empty tin that originally held 100 No. 6 blasting caps used in mining. Structurally, the tin is in undamaged condition but it appears that a previous owner may have painted the four sides and the bottom obscuring all the verbiage. This did not obscure the Gold Cross Trade Mark embossed on the bottom. This is rare and probably could be used to figure out the age of the tin. The tin measures 2 1/2" by 2 1/8" by 1 1/4" tall.
