Moviebuff2’s Movie Room

Your movie room just got cooler.

Step beyond the screen with this 5" x 25" theater mylar for Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (1994), starring Heather Langenkamp and Robert Englund.

Heather Langenkamp plays a fictional version of herself who discovers that an evil force has taken the form of Freddy Krueger. As the line between the movies and real life begins to disappear, Heather must face Freddy one more time to protect her son.

Theater mylars were traditionally displayed in lighted signs near auditorium entrances to show which movie was playing inside. Today, they make great display pieces for a home theater, movie room, office or entertainment space, either framed or backlit.

The listing photos show the mylar both illuminated in a lightbox and without backlighting. The theater photo is included only as an example of how this style of mylar was traditionally displayed.

Lightbox is not included.
