Moviebuff2’s Movie Room

Your movie room just got cooler.

The impossible mission begins where Earth ends!

Science teacher Ryland Grace awakens alone aboard a spacecraft with no memory of who he is or why he is there. As his memories gradually return, he discovers that he has been sent across the stars on a desperate mission that may represent humanity’s only hope of survival.

IMAX 70mm is one of cinema’s most celebrated large-format presentations. The format uses oversized 15-perforation film frames that travel horizontally through the projector, delivering exceptional image clarity, detail and scale on a towering IMAX screen. This mylar commemorates the film’s special IMAX 70mm presentation and makes an excellent display piece for collectors of premium-format theatrical memorabilia.

Theater mylars were traditionally displayed in lighted signs near auditorium entrances to show which movie was playing inside. Today, they make great display pieces for a home theater, movie room, office or entertainment space, either framed or backlit.

The listing photos show the mylar both illuminated in a lightbox and without backlighting. The theater photo is included only as an example of how this style of mylar was traditionally displayed.

Lightbox is not included.
