Offered is a pair of different real photo postcards depicting Violet and Daisy Hilton. One card has them as English twins and the other has them as San Antonio twins. Daisy and Violet Hilton were English-born entertainers who were conjoined twins. They were exhibited in Europe as children, and toured the United States sideshow, vaudeville and American burlesque circuits in the 1920s and 1930s. Born in England in 1908. They were joined at the hips and buttocks (pygopagus twins), sharing a pelvis and blood circulation but no major organs. They lived a rather strange life together and even had marriages while Daisy has a son. Both were found dead together in 1969. Both cards have azo stamp boxes (1910-30). Images are good with some mild edge wear. See images. Sold together only.
