Item Description |
YAMAHA BB LTD 5st (no261020) This is a Yamaha BB LTD 5-string model featuring a Warmoth neck. This model has a different feel from current Japanese-made models. Judging from the serial number, it is believed to have been manufactured in the mid-1990s. It features an orthodox wood configuration of an alder body, Warmoth maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with a J-type pickup developed specifically for this model. It embodies the high-quality sound of a Japanese-made BB. The 5-string model uses a bridge with a slightly lowered saddle design to ensure tension on the Low-B string. There is no drastic difference in sound quality, and the sound balance is excellent. While there are signs of use commensurate with its age, such as some loose screw holes in the pickguard, the truss rod has plenty of room, and there is no noticeable fret wear, so it can still be used for a long time.
