A single-person configuration makes this an "Early Morning" breakfast set, highly sought after by collectors who love the compact efficiency of Art Deco utility. In Clarice Cliff's catalogue, a "tray + 5 pieces" configured for one person typically breaks down as follows :- 1x Octagonal Serving Tray/platter(with handles). 1x Teapot/Coffee Pot. 1x Milk Jug/Creamer. 1x Sugar Bowl. 1x Toast Rack. 1x Cup & Saucer (counted together with the tray to total the 5 structural pieces + platter). The set is complete but unfortunately the tea/coffee put has some damage. The lid has been broken sometime and glued back together, it also has a small chip on the outside of the rim. The cup has a slight crack in the handle. All the other pieces are in reasonable condition bearing in mind their age. Had all items been undamaged the price of this set would have been considerably higher than it is. Ideal as a display set of if you have, or can source, another cup + teapot then it’s value will increase substantially. PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPHS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/DETAILS.
