Item Description

Steinberger GLB-2S Black (no261019)

A USA-made STEINBERGER from the 2000s, under the Gibson umbrella. This model was developed after 1987, when STEINBERGER, a pioneer of headless guitars, became a subsidiary of Gibson. While inheriting the carbon graphite neck that is characteristic of STEINBERGER, it uses a wooden body.It is equipped with EMG pickups, and the tremolo system uses the S-TREM, which omits the transposition function from the famous TransTrem, achieving smooth tremolo action. It also has a tremolo lock function. Its futuristic design and functions that overturn the conventional wisdom of electric guitars, and its sound that is compatible with effects pedals, can be fully utilized in today's musical styles. There are numerous scratches and dents scattered throughout, and there is a small paint chip near the neck joint. The truss rod works, but there is little room to tighten it.It shows some signs of use, but the playability is good. The included softshell case has a tear at the bottom and the front pocket has been repaired with tape, but it is still usable for storage and transport.
