YAMAHA PACIFICA 912/CRD (no261019)


A used Yamaha Pacifica 912/CRD has arrived!

This is the first generation Pacifica, manufactured from 1991 to 1995. At first glance, it looks very similar to the current model, but the internals and specifications are significantly different.
The body is made of high-quality swamp ash, and the neck is made by Warmoth. The pickups are custom-ordered from DiMarzio, and it was manufactured as a high-end model packed with attention to detail.

It has a thick, edgy sound reminiscent of the 90s, and the tonal direction is modern. It takes distortion well, and has a sustain and thick attack that cannot be achieved with current modern guitars. When clean, it has a warm and deep impression that makes you want to add digital chorus.

The body has minor scratches and discoloration of parts commensurate with its age. There is a crack in the pickguard above the front pickup. There is a dent on the edge of the fingerboard between the 16th and 17th frets. There is a dent on the back of the neck between the 9th and 10th frets. The back panel is missing.The neck is almost straight, and the truss rod has some adjustment range (OK). Fret wear is minimal.A softshell case is included, although it is not original.
