- All Other Items: 90 days from the date of delivery
Unless a different warranty period is clearly stated in the listing.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers the item being faulty or not functioning as described under normal use during the warranty period.
What the warranty does NOT cover
- Labour/diagnostics, recovery/towing, hire vehicles, or any consequential costs
- Incorrect fitment/compatibility (buyers must match part numbers and confirm suitability before purchase)
- Misdiagnosis or faults caused by other vehicle components, wiring issues, sensors, ECU/immobiliser/security systems, or existing vehicle problems
- Damage caused during fitting/removal, misuse, neglect, accident, modification, or improper installation
- Parts requiring coding/programming/adaptation where the issue relates to programming, vehicle security, configuration, or vehicle communication faults
- Wear & consumables/service items (e.g., bulbs, belts, filters, brake components, clutches, seals/gaskets unless stated new)
- Items that have been opened, dismantled, repaired, or tampered with (where applicable)
Claims process (important)
If you believe an item is faulty, please message us via eBay first before opening a return. We may request photos/video, part number confirmation, and/or diagnostic information (fault codes or a brief report) to help resolve the issue quickly.
Outcome
If the item is confirmed faulty and returned, we will offer a replacement (if available) or a refund once the item is received back and inspected. Returned items must be in the same condition as supplied, with any identification/security markings intact, and packaged securely.
Important fitting note
Please check part numbers and condition before installation. Installation indicates acceptance of condition.
Engines & gearboxes – additional warranty terms
- All engines and gearboxes must be installed by a qualified mechanic at an established garage/workshop. Evidence of professional fitting (invoice/job sheet) may be requested in the event of a warranty/returns claim. Engines and gearboxes fitted by private individuals are not covered.
- Engines & gearboxes must be correctly fitted and serviced before use. This includes (where applicable) new cam/timing belt and auxiliary belt, fresh engine oil, new oil filter, and new spark plugs (petrol engines). Failure to follow these requirements will invalidate the warranty.
- We do not guarantee any ancillaries/bolt-on parts supplied with engines/gearboxes, including but not limited to: water pumps, oil pumps, timing belts/chains, gaskets, seals, oil filters, fuel filters, sensors, injectors, turbochargers, EGR valves, and other service items unless specifically stated as covered in the listing.
- Warranty is void/terminates if the goods have been disassembled/dismantled, tampered with, or damaged due to overheating, lack of lubrication, incorrect fluids, or improper installation/adjustment.
