This is a superb stereoview
depicting the completed construction of 'A Statue of Faith,' which was also
known as 'The Pilgrim Monument,' and is now known as 'The National Monument to
our Forefathers.' This card was part of the fundraiser and could be obtained if
you donated one dollar to the Rev. W.M. Harding the financial agent for the
statue. Text on reverse: “Statue of Faith,” for Plymouth Rock Monument. This
Statue is 40 feet high, and comprises the cubic contents of more than 200
life-size statues. It rests upon an octagon pedestal 42 feet high thus making
the monument one of the grandest and most imposing of its kind in the world.
