Dave Matthews Band — Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena, Stateline, Nevada — August 30, 2022
Created by artist Bailey Race for Dave Matthews Band's August 30, 2022 concert at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Stateline, Nevada.
The artwork captures the experience of lying in the woods, listening to music, and becoming completely absorbed in the natural surroundings. A woman rests among the trees and glowing fireflies, while a miniature version of herself sits in a boat nearby. It's a clever detail that ties into the artist's idea of how music and nature can change our sense of perspective.
Race also incorporated hidden references to previous DMB Tahoe posters and the band's songs through the tattoos on the figure's arms, giving longtime fans a few additional details to discover.
This 24" × 18" seven-color screen print was produced as an official show edition of 730 individually numbered posters.
The poster offered here is #390/730, hand-numbered along the lower left edge.
