Authentic Edwardian folding cast-iron pen rest, British Registered Design No. 480716 (1906–1907). Originally part of a gentleman’s campaign or writing-desk set, it folds flat for travel and opens to hold a pen or inkwell. Ornate floral scrollwork, solid construction, and a smooth hinge mechanism. Genuine period piece, not a reproduction. Cleaned but with original patina retained for character. A great addition to any antique writing collection, steampunk décor setup, or office display.
Cleaned and lightly oiled to preserve original patina.
