SANTO BALORDO
Santo Balordo is a saint not found on the calendar. It's a bit "holy bogus". A santo balordo, in Italian, is an identity of convenience, false papers, a false passport. This is obviously the favorite saint of Valerio La Rocca who, of course, is not called that.
And yet, Valerio La Rocca has nothing to reproach himself for: the fortunes he made, and which he lost, the fantastic rides he made in the business world, the adventures he experienced did not cost anyone anything. Valerio is a great honest man. If his morals are not those of everyone, that only concerns him.
In his book, he reveals in detail all the "combinations" that he has assembled all over the world. He always had the genius to create money from ideas, that is to say from nothing. Scams, some claimed. Masterpieces, answers Valerio. He is still the best judge.
That he is a bit "on the run", living under a false name in an unknown place, sought by jealous people as much as by vigilantes, takes nothing away from his glory, his talent, his taste for money and his ardent desire to have nine lives, like cats and sorcerers.
