Vintage Country Curtains “At The Red Lion Inn” insulated curtain panel pair.
Made in the USA and associated with the historic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Features a classic floral country pattern with acrylic insulated backing designed to improve insulation and reduce drafts while maintaining the traditional New England country décor aesthetic Country Curtains became famous for.
Includes:
• Matching Pair (2 Panels)
• Approximately 39” x 82” Each Panel
• Original Country Curtains Insert Card
• USA Made Construction
Listed as pre-owned due to age, storage history, and inspection.
However, these curtains appear to have remained folded in their original factory-style folds and retain the original Country Curtains insert card. No evidence of installation, sun fading, laundering, or regular use was observed during inspection. While their complete history is unknown, there is a reasonable possibility they were never installed or used.
The acrylic backing was inspected and remains intact with no visible deterioration, powdering, stickiness, crumbling, separation, or degradation observed.
Important Storage Note:
A noticeable vintage storage/off-gassing odor is present consistent with long-term folded storage and the acrylic-backed insulated construction. Buyers should plan to either air the curtains outdoors or launder them according to the manufacturer’s care instructions prior to use.
