Fender 1979 Stratocaster -Wine- (no261013)

The "Fender Stratocaster Sunburst," loved by countless guitarists since its debut in 1954, is impressive with its large headstock, bullet nut, and 3-bolt neck, specifications that are symbolic of the 70s.
This instrument is judged to be a 1979s model, based on the serial number, pickup date, and pot date (only those that can be confirmed) being 1979.

The wood materials are typical of the era, with a heavy ash body and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
Many characteristic features of the late 70s can be seen in various parts, such as the headstock serial number, double string guides, and flat pole piece pickups.
The pickups, which use flat pole pieces, a characteristic of models from 1975 onwards, output a bright sound.

The color is wine, which was newly produced at the same time as the Antigua model.

Modifications
The nut has been changed to a brass nut, and the entire bridge system has been changed to a GOTOH product.
The pickguard screws have been replaced with new ones, and one tone pot has been replaced with a new one.

Condition
Approximately 60% of the frets remain, and there are many dents and small scratches on the entire body from playing.
The truss rod is OK, and the original mounting marks and screw holes have been filled when the jack parts and pickguard were replaced.
There is a paint change and chip that looks like a burn mark near the 6th string post on the headstock.

Weight: 4.60kg
Accessories: Original hardshell case, tremolo arm
