Up for sale is a vintage manual focus Carl Zeiss 135mm f/4 Sonnar tele lens for Contax 35mm rangefinders, serial #1523469, which comes with a rear cap and its original tube along with a cheap screw-on Tiffen front cap.  The lens is being sold for repair due to an issue with the iris: the aperture blades move somewhat when adjusting the aperture ring, but the iris is an odd-shape and the blades never fully open or close properly (there are also tiny gaps in the blades, and they're rather oily too as you can see in the photos, so I think the entire iris needs to be fully disassembled and repaired).  I don't see any scratches or fungus to the glass, but given its age, I'm sure there are some specks of internal dust.  Focusing is smooth, with close focus down to 5 feet.  Cosmetically, both the lens and tube have moderate overall wear, including some writing on the top portion as seen in the final image.  Please be sure to fully enlarge the provided photos, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
