Welcome to my primitive world!

This a wonderfully primitive black Doll! I have fashioned her after the popular 1926 vintage doll known as “Beloved Belindy”.

Let me tell you a little about her….  I have given this doll alot of detail, from her lightly blushed cheeks to her hand stitched face…all facial features are 100% vintage hand dyed wool. She has a weighted body so she sits nicely. 

She measures approx. 15 1/2 tall. 

Her dress is coffee dyed plaid homespun that features a large prim hand dyed green wool heart. She also has matching grungy cranberry red pantaloons. Her hair has been needlefelted and is spun sheep’s wool with a rag ribbon. I have added an old antique wooden button at the neck of her dress.

The hang tag on her dress says “BELOVED BELINDY”.
