Up for sale is a piece of New Jersey high school physical education ephemera: a hand-designed education promotional flyer from West Orange High School in New Jersey. Dated for an April 12th and 13th performance (probably 1936), this broadside features the headline, HAVE A FIZZLING GOOD TIME AT THE PHYS. ED. PHYZZLE and lists an admission price of 15 cents. The piece is signed by artist, Ruth Lauterbach, who was a senior in 1936 and served as the Captain of the Gym Team II. This hand-signed artifact is an outstanding addition for collectors of early women's physical education history, historic New Jersey high school memorabilia, or 1930s graphic design ephemera.
