Installation & Important Notes
- Confirm vehicle has GM 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission and 18-bolt mounting pattern prior to service
- Clean transmission housing mating surface completely using included scraper tool
- Insert filter pick-up tube securely into transmission pump seal prior to pan alignment
- Hand-thread all 18 mounting bolts first to prevent thread damage
- Torque 18 bolts evenly in a crisscross sequence to factory torque spec 10 Nm
- Refill transmission with factory-recommended fluid and inspect for leaks after installation
