You are purchasing a handsome antique set of auger and gimlet bits, housed in a unique folding wooden storage case. This set appears to include 13 bits in total, with four larger auger bits in the top tier and nine smaller bits below. These bits are designed for use with a traditional hand brace drill.

The tools are in used, antique condition, showing a natural patina and areas of surface rust consistent with their age and use. The square tapered shanks are intact. The wooden case is a fantastic piece, with a dark stain and a clever hinged design that folds out to display the bits. The case shows signs of wear, including scratches, scuffs, and some staining on the wood surface, but remains solid and functional with its original metal hardware.
