The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S is a professional super-telephoto prime lens designed for demanding sports, wildlife, action and outdoor photography. Combining a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture with exceptional reach and high-speed autofocus performance, this Nikon Z-mount lens is built to capture outstanding images even in challenging shooting conditions.

A major feature of the NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S is its built-in 1.4x teleconverter. With the flick of a switch, photographers can instantly extend the focal length from 400mm to 560mm, providing additional reach without needing to stop and attach an external teleconverter. This makes the lens particularly well suited to professional sports and wildlife photography where subjects and shooting distances can change quickly.

As part of Nikon's premium S-Line, the NIKKOR Z 400mm delivers excellent optical performance together with fast, accurate autofocus and Vibration Reduction (VR) for greater stability when shooting handheld or with a monopod.

Despite its substantial super-telephoto design, Nikon has concentrated much of the lens's weight towards the rear, helping provide better balance and handling when paired with a professional Nikon Z-series camera. The lens measures approximately 380mm (15 inches) in length and 156mm (6.1 inches) in maximum diameter.

An excellent companion for professional Nikon mirrorless cameras such as the Nikon Z9, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S provides photographers with the combination of 400mm f/2.8 performance, instant 560mm reach, fast autofocus and professional-grade image quality in a single lens.

Ideal for: Sports Photography | Wildlife Photography | Bird Photography | Motorsports | Outdoor Action | Professional Photography | Nikon Z9 Users
