Absolutely lovely copy of the original 1970 blue label pressing of the Dedication LP by Duke Pearson, on Prestige 7729. Also released in England a few years earlier as a Freddie Hubbard record, it was recorded in 1961 and only was released for the first time in the US on this rare pressing. A truly fantastic copy, as well. The disc has a handful of lightly visible but entirely superficial scuffs but they really are superficial and don’t affect the play in the least. Really just little rubs, not any real damage. The whole disc plays absolutely perfectly, without the slightest pop or tick anywhere. Really perfect sound. The cover has two promo drill holes at the upper and lower left bur is otherwise gorgeously crisp and clean with barely the slightest signs of us at all. Really this is an incredible copy, hard to beat.
