Up for sale is a original 1920s polychrome chalkware bust by Italian-born artist Leon Fighiera. Working in California during the early 20th century alongside contemporaries like Esther Hunt, Fighiera produced distinctive hand-painted Art Deco and Art Nouveau style figurative sculptures.

This piece features a beautifully sculpted young woman with a serene expression, detailed headscarf accent, floral hair embellishment, and decorative collar. The reverse is signed with the artist's mark, "Leon Fighiera".
