Penny start auction! Vintage 1950s Cleveland Indians photo postcard featuring Wally Westlake, hand signed in blue ink across the front. Westlake played for Cleveland from 1952 through 1955 and was a member of the Indians’ 1954 American League championship team that advanced to the World Series. This example comes from an original period autograph collection assembled largely through mail correspondence with the players. Unlike many examples in the collection, this postcard was not mailed and has no postal cancellation. The autograph has not been third-party authenticated and is offered as found from the original collection. Very nice vintage condition with light age and handling wear as pictured.
