The Infinity Gauntlet (1991) is a landmark six-issue Marvel Comics limited series written by Jim Starlin and illustrated by George Pérez and Ron Lim. Published between July and December 1991, the storyline is one of Marvel's most famous cosmic events, serving as the primary source material for the blockbuster Marvel Cinematic Universe films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

The narrative centers on the Mad Titan, Thanos, who has collected all six Infinity Gems (later known as Infinity Stones) and mounted them onto his left glove to create the omnipotent Infinity Gauntlet. Seeking to win the affection of the cosmic entity Mistress Death, Thanos snaps his fingers and instantly wipes out half of all life in the universe.
