This is a lot of two postcards. The first postcard, dating to 1909, features Blarney Castle in Ireland. It is a halftone print and includes a caption "27. BLARNEY CASTLE, IRELAND." A woman in a crimson dress is visible in the foreground. The reverse shows a postmark from Thurman, Virginia, and is addressed to Miss Pearl Dilen of Thurman, Virginia.
The second postcard is a chromolithograph postmarked March 20, 1909, from Thurman, Virginia. It depicts a Gibson Girl with her profile in an oval frame, her hair styled in an upswept coiffure and adorned with floral elements. She is wearing a teal dress. The lower left corner bears the mark "COPYRIGHTED O.R. N.Y." An inscription, possibly reading "Given To Mabel," is present. The reverse features a one-cent George Washington stamp and a Thurman postmark, and is addressed to Miss Pearl Thurman in Thurman, Virginia.
