Here we have a pre owned Germino Masonette 25 Plexi style All tube guitar amplifier head. Made in the USA in 2018. This Masonette 25 head is in the smaller enclosure which makes travel a breeze. Measures 20" x 8" x 8.25" This amp is powered by 2- 6V6 power tubes with a GZ34 Rectifier and 3- 12AX7's preamp tubes. It is a true 4- input, 2- channel head. There is a Master Volume on the back panel which makes bedroom and small gig levels easily achievable. The Masonette 25 has traditional controls for Volume I and Volume II and Bass, Mid, Treble, and Presence. It is really the ultimate portable Plexi style amplifier. This one is in very good condition. There are some slight tolex separation on the two back corners. Truly minor. It comes with a power cord. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
From Germino site...
Meticulous craftsmanship along with incredible tone is what makes the Masonette 25 stand well above other amps in this output range. Take the classic design of the Lead 55LV and use a smaller output transformer, a pair of 5881's or 6V6's along with GZ-34 rectifier and you have one of the best sounding club amps on the current amplifier market.
Seen in the backline of national tours the Masonette is a responsive, fun to play amp that gives up the goods early without making the soundman mad! Our own recipe of values in this circuit along with a late plexi split cathode preamp section gives plenty of breakup even at lower volumes.
