DESCRIPTION:

An authentic original 1910 Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) depicting the six children of King George V and Queen Mary, photographed by royal photographers W. & D. Downey and published by the Rotary Photographic Series (Card No. 485 A).

The photograph captures two future Kings (Edward VIII and George VI) alongside Princess Mary, Prince Henry, Prince George, and the young Prince John.

The reverse features a neat pencil breakdown dated "August 1910" detailing the exact age of each child at the time (Edward at 16, Albert at 14, Mary at 13, Henry at 10, George at 7, and John at 5).

A particularly poignant item for collectors of British royal history due to the inclusion of Prince John, who tragically passed away in 1919 at the age of 13.
