An authentic original Edwardian Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) depicting Their Royal Highnesses Princes John and George of Wales, taken by celebrated royal children photographers Speaight Ltd and published by J. Beagles & Co. (Card No. 271 U).

The portrait shows a young Prince George (later Duke of Kent) dressed in a traditional sailor suit seated beside his younger brother, Prince John.

The card is unposted and features neat historical handwriting on the reverse recording both princes' full birth names and dates, as well as marking Prince John's early passing in January 1919.

Postcards featuring Prince John remain particularly desirable among British royal history collectors due to his short life and limited official portraits.
